Both my recent experiences were positive. Prices reasonable. Case in point. My $1299 estimate for total service was reduced by a $129.00 service special. I was not informed of this at time of service. I only discovered the discount when I commented that the sale price was less than the estimate. Meaning? They could have negated the service special and I would never have known about it. Result? Builds trust. At a time when trust in every transaction imaginable is at an all time low, what would you do? Well, youd go back for your next repair. Repeat business is the lifes blood of small business. Well done Rainier Automotive.

Had my Audi Q5 water pump replaced here and overall a really good experience. The repair took a bit longer due to an unexpected hose issue, but they kept me informed and even offered a loaner car. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff and fair pricing. Would definitely go back.

Nothing but a great experience with both vehicles we've had repaired at Rainier Automotive. Very friendly staff, competitive pricing and as much as it kills me to find out everything wrong with my truck, I really like the multiple appraisals listing things I would never had known needed attention. Definitely my new auto repair shop!!

TLDR: brought in for loud engine noise for first 5-10 minutes after starting. They fixed oil leaks, oil flush and change, car runs better. Communication was poor, proactive communication non-existent. 0 stars for communication / customer service, but they did complete the work needed so gave 2 stars. Scheduled an appt for a Tuesday morning, dropped off my car and waited for an estimate. I didn't get the estimate until Thursday afternoon after checking in each day and being told it's almost ready. They started the work on Thursday / first thing Friday morning. Friday: reached out late afternoon, Response: 2 techs working on it, almost done, but might not get done today so plan for Monday. Monday: reached out around noon... Response: tech is at lunch, will get back to you once we have a solid estimate of when the car will be ready. I didn't hear anything Monday afternoon. Tuesday: No word from Rainier until I reached out around 4 pm. Response: just give us 30 minutes to wrap up the paperwork. I picked up the car before they closed at 5. The guy who checked me out apologized for the delay but didn't seem to know anything about why it took so long. I submitted a similar review on their website, but I doubt they will post it there. Now I've been getting messages about getting more work done there... but I'm not going back.

Got a 500 dollar harness installed to monitor my oil consumption that same harness is faulty i have to check my oil before they worked on it my car warned me about oil change due and low oil now it tells me nothing horrible work I can go on. Check out automotive experts they do great work and you can get updates anytime on the phone or text very friendly and professional
