We are hiring Technicians and Service Advisors.
Rainier Automotive has been taking care of my company sales trucks since I moved into the Maple Valley area in 2012. From replacing a 5.7 Hemi motor in my 2014 Dodge Ram to fixing the washer fluid lines on the 2022 Ram and probably 20 other things in between Jim, John & Jeff have been top notch, 1st class in service, knowledge all of the way. If you live near Maple Valley/Covington area do not take your vehicle anywhere until you have talked to the crew at Rainier Automotive! I have been working with them for well over a decade and whether its a company truck or my wife's SUV they will always be my 1st call!!! Thank you Jim & John!!!
Excellent communication, transparency and honesty, highly recommend this shop!!
Did a great job.
They serviced my car and were professional and through. I definitely will use their services again.
Everyone at rainier automotive was great, we have taken our truck into them for aftermarket installation of side steps, a full tuneup and a small part replacement and it all went smoothly.
The Rainier team is great. They are friendly, get the job done in a timely manner, and never have any rework. Also, they are not afraid to defer work to someone else, if needed. I had a major electrical issue on a vehicle last year. They recommended going to the dealer, as they would have to "go on a fishing expedition" to try to resolve the issues, costing a lot of money in shop time. They felt the dealer would have much more intimate knowledge of the vehicle. It turned out to be the right move. Now that's customer service!
Great communication with diagnostics and repairs.
Rainier Team and Jim are top tier! My go to team for anything related to our vehicles. They are efficient, fair and knowledgeable which has made our trust level very high for this company! Great choice for car repair and maintenance. Thank you for taking great care of my family’s safety.
I made an appointment for a Tuesday and brought the car in the late afternoon. I had an idea what the issue was and informed them as such. They told me they wouldn’t be able to look at it until the next day, which is understandable. I then heard nothing. I went in on Friday to ask them if they had looked at it and they said they had and told me what they found. They said the part was $350, but that didn’t include labor. They informed me they were putting the estimate together right then and I would need to wait to receive the estimate by email so I could authorize the repairs. I didn’t get the email until Monday. It had four different and difficult to understand estimates. One of the estimates was for $5800 in repairs, not including the initial problem. I authorized the repairs (for the specific problem) that day. The vehicle wasn’t finished until the following Monday. I’m assuming the repair was done correctly, but I can’t understand why the diagnostic took five days? I was also told the diagnostic would be $180, but it ended up being over $300 and I wasn’t told why. Altogether, I ended up paying almost $1200 to fix a $2500 car. I won’t be doing business with Rainier Automotive in the future. Bad communication, bad time management and quite expensive.
