My brakes were making a very odd sound one day and the guys at Rainier Auto worked with me to get my truck in for a safety inspection and did it while I waited. After a once over, test drive and discussion with me about the issue I was cleared for safe driving (and stopping). I felt like a partner in the process and they helped me quickly which was wonderful. They also didn't charge me for the appointment even though they put some time in on it which was much appreciated. Rainier Automotive will definitely be my go to place for future care of my vehicle. Thank you for the peace of mind!
I owned an automotive repair shop for 50+ years and it is difficult for me to be satisfied when I use one for my own repairs. Or, to be more accurate it USED to be difficult until I met Jim and the crew at Rainier Automotive! I had a 2006 hummer that need an entire engine replacement and a work on a few other vehicles. I searched everywhere was looking a shop to use for such extensive repairs and found an amazing one when I met these guys. They completed my repairs without any issue, they were accurate and transparent in the repairs and the cost was exactly what we agreed Jim went to lengths to show me what I paid for. The two biggest concerns with any shop are always honesty and quality , Rainier Automotive gets top marks for BOTH and they’re just a great group of people up there. Since meeting them they have referred my sons car, and I have recommended many others and EVERYONE has been completely satisfied and I highly recommend them to you if you’re searching for a great and trustworthy place to take your car!

We bring all of our vehicles to Ranier Automotive. They are friendly, do a good job and we love that they perform a detailed inspection each time. We love that they email (and/or text) us a copy of the results and their recommendations to repair what’s wrong. The list is rated from urgent to non-urgent and then we decide what work to have done based on urgency and budget at the time. This also allows us to plan for upcoming repairs or service without being surprised or feeling desperate and frustrated about the impact on our budget.
