I’m a little Mexican lady that people frequently try to take advantage of. But these guys are great. They’re honest and reliable and didn’t try to upsell me on anything. They diagnosed my check engine light and fixed my starting problem for $180 and the first shop I went to quoted me over $2,000 trying to do a bunch of work that the car didn’t even need. Once again Jim and the team at rainier automotive have gone above and beyond. I had a 4 wheel drive issue on my ram with a 5.9 cummins and they diagnosed it quickly as well as found a few things another shop had done wrong. Come to find out I was charged by the other shop for work they didn't even perform and parts they charged me for but didn't install. Jim and John wrote up verbiage and documented it with pictures as well as fixing the original issues And the other shops mistakes for much less than I was quoted else where. I was able to get refunded and file a complaint at the other shop with their help. I would have never known had rainier and their team pointed it out. Now I have a new "home" for my truck and it drives better than it did when I drove it off the lot. I'll never go to another shop again. Highly recommend these guys. Look no further. Thanks Jim!

Rainier was able to fit me in during the cold snap (when my prior mechanic didn’t return my calls) to fix my heater/defrost so i could clear me windows and drive family to the airport safely. They didn't take advantage of me and fixed what turned out to be a minor issue quickly. Grateful for their prompt ethical service. I’ll be back when necessary and trust them to do whats right.

Did a fantastic job of quick fix as I needed at the moment

Had a no start no crank issue with a newer suburban. Went in and had them look at it. Turned out to be Something simple that I had missed during a repair. Most other shops would have charged me for a new part and other things that it really didn't need. These guys simply flipped a heat shield around and sent me on my way. Gave me a detailed list of things they recommend. I did not feel pressured at any time. Honesty and integrity are very rare in this business and it feels good to have a shop That isn't gonna charge you for things you don't need. Jim and John are very professional, very honest, and will continue to receive my business they. currently have my 2007 5.9 Cummins For a 4 wheel drive repair and I don't take that truck to just anybody. If you're looking for a shop that will be straightforward and honest with you especially if you don't know much about vehicles these are the guys to take it to. If There was a 10 star review that would be getting that. I moved from Snohomish county and specifically only went to Pacific diesel service. It looks like I've found my new home at Ranier automotive.
