Definitely competent mechanics. But either their labor is really expensive or they charged me twice the number of normal billing hours for the job. Inquired afterwards and was told everything was routine...or maybe it's just inflation going crazy like the price of eggs

my family has been using rainier automotive for probably about 15 years, and we have had nothing but good experiences with them. i now drive half an hour to still go to rainier, and would drive even further. jim builds a personal relationship with his customers; he knows my whole family and even what all we do for work, and would ask after us back when it was just my mom bringing the family cars into him. by now rainier services probably at least 8 cars from our family. they are skilled, communicative and have fair pricing. when i called for an eta this time because i forgot to ask when i dropped off when to expect it to be done, the woman was very nice and offered to call to double check on something without me even asking. your car will be in good hands at rainier automotive. i don’t know what i would do without them!! thank you!

These crooks wanted $1,000 to replace a Starter that was still under warranty. I towed it to the parking lot next door and changed it myself in less than 20 min. (Starter exchanged by auto zone for free)TOTAL predictor move to overcharge because vehicle was towed in…..$1000 for a starter???
